With right left shunt (with cyanosis)
Fallot tetralogy is one of the most frequent causes of cyanosis. In its classic form, it is characterized by 1. pulmonary stenosis, 2. ventricular septal defect, 3. aorta overriding ventricular septal defect, and 4. hypertrophy of the right ventricle.
Complete transposition of the great vessels and a persistence of ductus arteriosus also belong to this group (truncus arteriosus communis).
